Expertise in Allergic Disorders.

Diagnostics Research Group has participated in research studies of:

Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis
Ragweed
Mountain Cedar
Spring Allergens
Perennial Allergic Rhinitis
Nasal Allergen Challenge

Additional capabilities and experience include:

Mountain Cedar allergens:
Cedar pollen season occurs from December to February in San Antonio and the surrounding hill country of Texas, providing study milieu with an incredibly dense antigen during a unique time of the year. This combination allows pharmaceutical sponsors to successfully perform large studies in very brief periods in the winter. We have enrolled as many as 200 subjects in a Mountain Cedar study at the request of a sponsor.

A searchable database of over 12,000 subjects:
Our full-time Patient Recruitment staff utilizes our substantial in-house patient database as a significant source of recruitment, allowing us to quickly and efficiently recruit subjects meeting a wide range of research criteria.

Our database allows searches based on historic skin testing results and allergic symptoms.

San Antonio, Texas is one of the top cities in the United States for allergens. Our comprehensive database includes a large number of subjects who will volunteer to participate in SAR and PAR studies.

Our patients are from diverse backgrounds and drawn from a San Antonio metropolitan population of 1.5 million and a referral area of 3.5 million.

Biogenics Allergen Chamber:
We are closely affiliated with the Biogenics Allergen Chamber and will utilize that facility for studies requiring an allergen controlled testing environment.

Their Board Certified Allergists participate as Data Interpreters and as Investigators in Allergen Chamber related studies.
