Vaccine - Cytomegalovirus

Currently Enrolling
Cytomegalovirus (CMV) is a virus that can infect people of all ages. Most people never have symptoms of CMV. However, the virus can cause health problems for some babies whose mothers become infected with CMV during pregnancy.
 
Infection by CMV typically causes very mild symptoms such as fever, sore throat, fatigue, and swollen glands.
 
After infection, CMV stays in the system for life and could affect an unborn child resulting in fetal/newborn death or Neurological/Sensory impairments later in childhood.
 

We are seeking women who:

  • Are 16 to 35 years old
  • Are in good heatlth
  • Have direct exposure to young children, age 5 and under
 

Study participants may receive:

  • Study vaccine at no cost
  • Study related medical exams at no cost
  • Up to $2,350 compensation for time + travel
