Who We Are

Diagnostics Research Group, originally formed in 2000 by Charles P. Andrews MD and Brita Andrews, was acquired by The IMA Group in October of 2021 and operates as one of the 90+ brick-and-mortar medical offices that form IMA Clinical Research. The IMA Clinical Trial Network is a physician-founded network of integrated clinical research sites specializing in Phase II-IV hybrid and fully decentralized trials in multiple therapeutic areas.

As a dedicated clinical research site in San Antonio, Texas, Diagnostics Research Group extends the geographic reach of IMA Clinical Research in the southwestern US.

Our site has interests and expertise in a variety of therapeutic areas of medical science as it relates to the research of drugs and medical devices, and our Director of Clinical Research Charles P. Andrews MD is a Principal Investigator with experience of more than 335 studies.

We support The Center for Information and Study on Clinical Research Participation (CISCRP) and are a charter member of the Society of Clinical Research Sites (SCRS). Seven of our staff members are certified by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
